I have served as an elder at Community of Grace since November of 2023 and as the Youth Leader for the past year. It has been a pleasure to serve and to learn from the body of Christ. What drew me to CoG was the focus on discipleship, personal evangelism, the Biblical view on ministry, and the desire to equip the body to serve one another and those in our community.
I am married to my beautiful wife, Maria, and have two children – Ruvim and Sasha. We enjoy serving together on the mission field, running summer camps for orphans and children in at-risk families. While at home, we love to enjoy God’s creation by going on walks, hikes, skiing, snorkeling, etc.
A verse that has always been a favorite, because it shows the transformative power of the Gospel, is Galatians 1:23-24: “They only were hearing it said, ‘He who used to persecute us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy. And they glorified God because of me.” My desire is that the transformation God produces in me gives Him glory!
