DESCRIPTION:Self-Defense Training & Roots Café\nSaturday\, October 17 at 10:30 AM \nMiddle and high school girls and women of all ages are invited to a free\, two-hour self-defense training at the Greater Portland School of Jukado\, 821 Main Street\, Westbrook. \nThe class will cover basic self-defense techniques and situational awareness. Elizabeth Kramer\, Doshu Allan Viernes\, and other instructors will lead the training. Allan is a veteran who has also taught situational awareness at a local college. \nWhat to bring: Loose-fitting\, comfortable clothing & water \nParking: Street parking or the KeyBank lot next door. \nAfter the training\, we’ll head over to Roots Café for refreshments and time together. \nFor more information\, contact the office.
