Pastor
I live in Scarborough with my wife, Karen, our three amazing daughters, Anne, Emma, and Lily, and our part dog/part tornado, Bailey. I was raised in Portland and Kennebunk and came to believe the gospel of Jesus Christ as a child. I grew up in the church that is now Community of Grace, shaped by godly mentors who encouraged and equipped me to serve as a teacher and elder before stepping into the role of full-time pastor.
My passion is to equip the church to fulfill its mission to love God, love others, and make disciples of Jesus Christ. I believe that as we share the love of God in word and deed, we’ll see lives and whole communities transformed by the power of the gospel.
I find the Lord drawing me back to a repeated call in the book of Chronicles, not just to a verse, but to a posture of worship anchored in the declaration: “For He is good, for His steadfast love endures forever.” My prayer is to live a life of worship unto the Lord ‘for His steadfast love endures forever.’ My hope for our community is that God would continue to stir hearts throughout Greater Portland, drawing more people to know and experience His love through Jesus Christ in ever-deepening ways.
