Elder Chair

I’ve been serving at Community of Grace as an Elder since September 2018, and I have enjoyed serving alongside other leaders and the church community during this period. It is a blessing to be part of a church family that desires to serve God, serve others and make disciples of Christ, in our church, our local communities and globally. I get great fulfillment from seeing others touched by God in ways that lead to spiritual growth and a dependence on God.

Christ continues to transform my life, and he teaches me new things each time I submit to His leading. A scripture that greatly speaks to me on His transformative work in my life is what Paul writes in Philippians 3:12-14.

“Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus”.

I live in Scarborough, Maine with Ivy, my wife of 20 years, and our teenage high school children, Nana and Papa. I love travelling and enjoy watching soccer.
