Deacon

I’ve been serving at the Community of Grace as a deacon since 2023, and it has been a joy to serve alongside others in this church family. This community seeks to love God, love others, and lives on mission to make disciples of Jesus. I consider it to be a blessing to be part of what God is doing in and through the Community of Grace in the Greater Portland area. Our mission is to serve others and to share Jesus through our work on the deacon board.

Outside of ministry, I love to spend time with family. My career has focused on college advising and social advocacy. My interests include hiking, playing mandolin, writing poetry and non-fiction, and dabbling in the arts. I absolutely love innovative approaches to solutions. If there is a roller coaster around, I want to be on it- especially if it goes upside down!

A verse that has anchored my walk with the Lord is out of 2 Timothy 3:16-17: “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
