About Our Presenter - Autumn Schmidt

Autumn Schmidt is a professional coach, entrepreneur, and passionate advocate for empowerment and transformation. With a Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice and experience as an Adjunct Professor, she also hosts the popular podcast She’s An Asset. A lifelong martial artist, Autumn is a second-degree black belt with multiple national and regional sport karate titles. She has been teaching women’s self-defense since 2013 and developed her own self-protection program. Autumn began her law enforcement career at 20, serving in both city and county departments. She became a certified academy instructor in defensive tactics and was a member of Maine’s Federal Human Trafficking Task Force. After a career-ending injury, she transitioned to part-time community policing, where she continues to make an impact today.
